Aztetec hotel's spa is disgusting, it's cold
Both the pool and the saunas are cold and full of children going in and out of the saunas and leaving the door open, the jacuzzi is closed but they were letting the children in and out of it, as well as splashing water in the pool and yelling, and understand me, it's a spa, not a public pool.

Another good customer Lost
We have been regular customers at this pub over the years & always had good service and meals . . . until yesterday (Tuesday) lunchtime. You expect three things when you enter a restaurant: to be given a table, a menu & offered drinks. So we were given a table in full sight of the lady in charge and were then ignored for ten minutes, at which point we got up and left. As we left, the lady offered the excuse that there was a problem with the gas in the kitchen.

It's the last time I will visit this place.
It’s the very first time I wanted to leave a review to a restaurant. I thought I must share my experience with people who’re thinking about visiting this restaurant. Totally unhappy experience in terms of food and service we received. Long waiting time for the food (an hour) and none of us enjoyed the food nor their service.

Won't be back!
Booked a table here a week prior for the first time available, 5pm. Bearing in mind I have a child that needs to do the whole routine for school, we walk in at 4:51pm to be told that it will be at least 15-20 minutes before we get our table. The poor waitress was apologetic, but the manager was not and the girl who told us the bad news at the till couldn’t care less . We used to visit this pub regularly, but this is the second time in a row we’ve had an issue with them.

Not a good experience
First and last visit, Friday 5pm. Mt husband ordered fish and chips, the fish was small to say the least! I ordered gammon pineapple and egg. The egg was a rubber blob, chips dry and served with salad. We didn't stay for desert. We were asked if we enjoyed our meal when we went to pay! Our negative reply was "oh dear" ( with a smile) we weren't offered a stopper for our half bottle of wine that we decided to take home. We will not be returning.

Lovely food.
Myself and my partner went for a meal after work. I've got to say the steak was perfect. I always order medium rare and in a lot of restaurants it can be hit and miss. But it was perfect. My partners pie was delicious. Loved the Christmas decorations and ambience. Even though the manageress was on her own there was no fault in service. We will be back very soon.

Never ever have a meal here!
We ordered prawn and smoked salmon cocktail, which at £18:95 seemed a little expensive. What it comprised of was a small piece of smoked salmon and about 8 baby shrimps. ( Prawns they were not and even calling them shrimps would be a stretch.) All on a bed of lettuce. The chips that came with the main course were half cooked, tasteless and difficult to swallow. The linguine had almost the equivalent of two sliced chilli peppers hidden it which completely took away the delicate flavour of the crab

Thwaites has just lost another guest.
Arcane ruling that they cannot accept the Queens shilling after 11.30pm at the bar because they have cashed their till. Inflexible and totally worst service I have had in 25 years of Hotel Travel. Will give this a wide berth and their Sister Hotels.
